Raining Sunday (in the afternoon)...we can't have our swimming then. So, during the evening, daddy said wanted to let Lindy try to drive her car at the pool side. So, off we go.......wow! she dares to drive (in fact, daddy is controlling the car) her car already!

Since Day-1 we bought this car for her, she just dare to ride on it without moving. If we start to remote-controlled the car to let it move, she will cry to come down. And today, she's no longer fear about the car is moving but then she's too enjoy to ride on the car and don't want to get down from the car even we have reached our home...hah!

Today is the appointment date to have a shooting at studio. So, we all wake up around 9am, get ready ourselves, drive to have our breakfast at McD then heading to Kuang Yee studio. Lindy has the shooting appoinment with them at 11am.

Well, it is a very...very tired day, the shooting is completed at around 2pm. Phew! Next Saturday we will drop by the studio again to select photos for print out. Do come back to this blog to check out her studio photos....I will post up a few of her photos.

Sorry, I don't have any special develope milestone to jot down here...anyway, she is learning everyday, every second and every moment!

Just would like to share on a short story of this book. See below conversation between me and Lindy.

Well, she is too smart...she doesn't know what shape is it but it is look like a kite to her! Bravo...bravo my Lindy, mommy give you 100% mark.

She knows the shape of star, square, triangle, circle and cross when being asked (in fact, she’s learning these shapes indirectly when playing her shape’s block).

Well, she can speak out the word "square" and "star" and the rest of the 3 shapes she will just pick it up to show me when being asked. 加油, ger-ger!!!!

Today we buy a white gold necklace and pendant for Lindy.

Before we decided to buy for her, I let her "trial-run" wearing my necklace for several days. And she's good, she never pull the necklace that she's wearing on.

So, at last she owned hers.

We let her choose the pendent she wants...and...that's about it!

* She can moves without support from a squatting position to standing.
* She uses a delicate pincer grasp to pick up small objects.

She is not really good in talking yet...still prefer her baby talk. Oh ya, by now she can speaks a few words already (click here to see what she can talk) and one more word that I would like to add here is "bye". When she is leaving, she will say "baiiiii" to people and waves her hand as well.

And when I hang up phone, I said "bye" on the phone and she will follow me to say "baiiiiii" too!

Today, we bought a battery-operated car for Lindy. This car can be driven using auto and manual mode. "Auto" means we have to use the remote control to control the car's moving. And manual is means the driver can step on the pedal to move the car around.

This photo is not really show out the "bump"... Today is not an April fool day for Lindy but it is a bad day for her. She fells down and gets swollen so big at her forehead. We bring her to see her "pedia", doctor examine her eyes to confirm she is ok. And we have to monitor her (at home) for 24 hours to confirm she is fully ok.

These few days, we were at Singapore; visiting Monica aunty (poh poh's youngest sister) besides tour around there. We went togather with poh poh, and poh poh's eldest sister.

Today Baby Lindy turns to 18-mth old.

Even I still haven't finish unpack our things, but I got the urge to blog today. Here I would like to add on some of baby Lindy's development.

She now can:-
• Drinks from a cup, but still may need help in holding it
• Suck drinks using straw
• Indicates what she wants by pulling, pointing, grunting and other methods of communicating
• Understands simple directions

Sent bb Lindy to Pantai Hosp, and her pedia admitted her! So, it is time doc need to investigate what is the root cause that causing her to have such a high fever. Blood test and urine test is taken. During these few days, bb Lindy still having high fever. With Voltaren inserted into her rectum, that will just able to lower down her temperature to 37.6 to 37.8 degC.

A few days later, doc at last find out the root cause. In fact, baby Lindy is having two illness at the same time. Primary illness is Measles and Secondary illness is Herpes.

Medication is the only treatment for bb Lindy...

I touched baby Lindy forehead in the early morning when I wake up…OMG, it is hot! Measured and get reading with 38.8 degC - high fever! I insert Voltaren into her rectum and took some time the fever get down to 37.5 degC. Again baby Lindy is on PCM medication.

I call up her pedia, and doctor said let her take the PCM for 2 days (48hrs), by then if her fever not getting down, then sent her again to see him.

Bb Lindy’s fever still not recover, but the worst is her body gets rashes. Again, I sent her to her pedia and confirm she is allergy to Augmentin antibiotic. So, doctor change another type for her which is Zithromax.

She needs to inject antibiotic (for 3 days) to help her fight with the germs! Poor little girl, look at her hand. Anyway, with the antibiotic, now her fever is under control.

She gets her high fever (38.8 deg C) in the morning. We bring her to see doctor at Pantai Hosp. She needs to insert medicine into her rectum.

At night around 11pm, she awake from her sleep, whole body shivering; plams and foot turns grey. We rushed her to Island Hosp (not Pantai Hosp) and she has need to admitted for monitoring.

In order to avoid this little monster to disturb me when I glue myself with my laptop, I get a damage unit of a very, very old model of laptop from hubby's friend a month ago to let Lindy owned hers too! Although it is a blackout screen, she still enjoy so much "typing" on the keybord, hah!

And today, her damage unit of laptop "back to life", are you sure? She can on FB eh? How come? Why...why...why?

Really enjoy and excited with the colourful screen of her laptop, she laughs all the way through!

Real a bad day for Lindy! She slipped on the floor during crawling. She cried painfully until voiceless for a few second! OMG, immediately blood come out from her mouth and her upper lip swollen right away!

It is the first time I feed Lindy with egg. I added the hard boiled egg into her porridge to let her eat it. The reason is to find out whether she is allergy to egg or not! I have need to know this before sending her to have her MMR injection on this weekend.

These few days, she learns on how to get down from a high place (like bed and sofa) with reversing her buttock and legs to get down first.......safely to the ground. After a few trials, she now mastered it already!

Well, not much story to tell about Lindy lately. She is on her way learning how to walk now. She just dare to walk 2 to 3 steps by her own...but provided me or hubby is near to her (she knows if she falls, we still able to hold her from falling down).

Photo below was taken during we were at US, somewhere around end of Jul 2010. Lindy likes so much the iPad that hubby bought. Hubby downloaded many of the children's education program that attract her attention so much! That is good as she can learns new thing via the iPad. This is one of the reason we bought this unit too!

Everyone in Malaysia especially Chinese will celebrate “Mooncake Festival” on 22-Sep-2010. So, being the 1st -time parents, we both are so excited and wanted so much to bring baby Lindy to have a “lantern-walk” even before the arriving of the actual festival’s date.

Since today is Sunday and the night is always young (I mean to us…) we wait baby Lindy wake up from her sleep at 8:40pm then we bring her to Esplanade to have her 1st time “lantern-walk” besides we have our late-dinner at Esplanade as well.

By the time we finished our late-dinner, the clock strike 10pm already…well it is still early anyway (to us)…haha! After the late-dinner, we walked to the field compound to let baby Lindy have her “lantern-walk” for half-an-hour before we go back home.

Here are some photos of her when she’s carrying her lanterns (bought by grandpa).

Grandpa bought her 3 lanterns overall but we just bring 2 for her to play.
